On Wednesdays, March 4, April 1, and May 6, 2015, the Omaha Professional Fire Fighters Union will hold their annual Steak Frys to raise funds for the Muscular Dystrophy Association (MDA).

Fareway grocery stores are a new partner for all three of this year’s Steak Fry events. Because of their generous steak, plus food at cost donation, the Union will be able to provide more of the proceeds to the MDA.

Each meal is $10 per plate and includes a steak, baked potato, vegetable, salad, and roll.

The Omaha Professional Fire Fighters Association is proud to join with fire fighters across the country to raise money for the Muscular Dystrophy Association. Fire fighters have been raising awareness for the cause since 1954 and are the largest national sponsor of the MDA. Over the past 10 years, the Omaha Professional Fire Fighters Association has raised more than $700,000 in support of MDA.

By committing to the MDA through fundraising, fire fighters from across the country can share their team strength and brotherhood to give better meaning to lives and provide hope for the future for those who suffer from muscular disease.
